The purpose of this article is to help troubleshoot common issues with the ‘Theme Skin’ in SMT (NetSuite's Site Management Tools).

Here are some facts about the theme skin that may give some insight into any issues your company or theme developer is experiencing:
One possible way to know if the theme skin is about to give you issues editing or saving is by seeing how long it takes to load the theme skin. If it is stuck in the loading screen (see screenshot below) for an uncomfortable amount of time, you will likely have issues saving, so before you do any work, you should log out and back into SMT.
If you can not load the theme skin or are still having issues editing or saving, attempt to reload the page, log out and back into SMT, and finally, perform a cache invalidation request.
You should also do cache invalidation if saving the theme skin takes longer than 15 minutes, which you will then need to re-enter your skin updates and save again if you have already made them.
If you do not see the theme skin here: also attempt to log out and back into SMT or cache invalidate. This sometimes does not show up if you just activated a new theme as well.
