Tracking numbers help you track your customer shipments. When you ship your packages, you can retrieve tracking numbers from UPS, FedEx, the U.S. Postal Service® (USPS), and Airborne.

While there is solid documentation on working with shipment tracking in NetSuite, there's no clear documentation on shipment tracking behavior in SuiteCommerce published by NetSuite at the time of writing this article. So, let's look at what shipment tracking behavior looks like in SuiteCommerce MyAccount and how it is set up.

The tracking link will display in two areas in MyAccount. Customers can click the link to view the status of their orders on the shipping service website.

Here's how the Tracking Link gets set:

Step 1: Go to Transactions > Sales > Fulfill Orders.

Step 2: Beside the sales order you want to view or track, click Fulfill.

Step 3: Click the Packages subtab.

Step 4: Enter the tracking number in the Package Tracking Number field.

Step 5: If you use a Shipping Label Integration, the tracking number automatically displays after you fulfill the sales order.
